Feel so refreshed after a good shower! Today at work was no longer boring. We had this division appreciation night. i thought i was only the PA and need not go to the function, but... my boss said, lets go to the division function together ba~ So...wtf LOL. I offed the comp n went up to 8th floor with my boss. we were late by 30mins and it was as though we were early LOL. So... we sit around till our division directer came. Then we had the buffet lunch... and continued with games. Lucky i did not happen to kena the forfeit hahahahaha. THen , the bingo game, LOL I GOT 3rd PRICE! It was somekind of audio player stuff, but i seriously prefer the 2nd prize : 4 in 1 printer -_- oh well.after the function ended we had a division picture and as my HP is still a spare one so... no pics for the current moment.THEN I REALISED I LEFT MY BAG IN OFFICE at 7th floor but the office door is electronically locked, lucky i had my phone n wallet with me if not i can camp at office LOL. So.. i will only be able to retrieve that bag tmr. Feels wired without a bag when im out of the house o.O Anyway, when i reached sembawang mrt station it was like 11+ and when i got home it was like midnight already. Sibei tired now. 'ciaos~

ok... its about 2am now.i got woken up by my stomach , wanting to unload. and now i cant sleep. well, i shall blog abit about yesterday.went to work as usual, updated some files, then around lunch time, boss called and invited me n mr kang to his house for a cny gathering. there was quite a big spread there, and also quite a big crowd too. anyways, he had a viewing at 4pm at west coast and his hous is like near city, but with his guests around, he cant go,plus its RAINING. so mr kang and i used his car to get to west coast to serve the client. HE ALMOST PUT THE DEPOSIT!! but his wife says that this flat of 31 years with freaking dam original condition is not worth the $$. so...returned to boss's house and he "forced" me to tabao some food home so that my mom no need to cook.oh well. Then he drove us back to office to pick up our bags,then to toa payoh mrt.OH YA, collected my pay for this week too :D

Chinese New Year. I lost count of which day of CNY is today, but anyway, got quite a considerable amount of angbao and contents in the ang bao are also not bad. Got ang bao from my boss and my boss's boss LOL!. 1st and 2nd day of CNY was visiting , visiting, and more visiting. Relatives ask about studies all the time and some said "WAH SO SMART 15PTS" -_-''. 3rd day, there wasnt any visiting but i finally gave the bloody bear to THIS KIM.lols. And she complained that it was too furry -.- oh well, then i fetched my uncles from sembawang MRT as they were from other countries and later we went to malaysia to visit my auntie. At the fourth day of CNY , i belive alot ppl started working and studying. I was doin the usual stuff in the office when i heard the lion dance coming, it came super close to me and i was like "wtf do u wan lol".

P.S. : Only open all your angbaos on the 15th day of CNY or all ur gd luck will go away. Thats wad my ah ma told me.

GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! Grats to all that did well in the O levels exam. Yesterday was a very scary day as when i was online in msn, i received bad news -.- . Then at 2pm, we collected our results and obviously we can see happy and sad faces. However, i didnt see any ppl crying, which is not standard LOL. Anyways, when i collected my results, JT our form teacher, looked at me and said "GOOD". I was thinking, " SHIT" and seriously when i opened the envelope, SHIT results -.- all the 6 subjects had the same grade and i was hoping for "A" and "TWO" but instead i saw "B" and "THREE" and i seriously dun understand why some ppl congratulated me, lol , maybe for english its hard to get b3? i wonder... But oh well, at least the envelope says i can opt for tourism course, and im still thinking wad to put for other 10 choices...

Thunderbird 3 beta 4 available for download

Mozilla's popular email client 'Thunderbird' is progressing nicely, having hit the beta 4 milestone of version 3 just earlier, bringing some nice new changes and improvements with it according to the guys over at ghacks.

The release brings a few new optimization features, including support for Windows Vista's search and better Gmail integration.

Some of the improvements, as listed by Mozilla, can be found below:
New Search with Advanced Filtering Tools:
Search results now include advanced filtering tools. You have the option to filter your results by sender, tag, attachments, people, folder, and mailing list. You can also filter your email using the timeline tool.
New Global Search Field with Autocomplete:
When typing in the Global Search field, Thunderbird autocompletes against your address book. You have the option of searching everywhere or filtering against different parts of the email such as by subject or by sender.
Redesigned Mail Toolbar:
The Mail Toolbar is redesigned to include the new Global Search bar. Buttons such as reply, forward, delete, junk are part of each email message. You can add those buttons back to the main toolbar by customizing the toolbar.
Smart Folders:
The folder pane offers a Smart Folders mode which combines special mailboxes, like Inbox, from multiple accounts. Smart Folders is now on by default.
Improved Gmail Integration:
Better recognition and integration of Gmail's special folders such as Sent and Trash including non-English versions of Gmail. Thunderbird also uses All Mail as the Archives folder.
For Windows Vista users, Thunderbird 3 is now integrated with Vista search results. On first start, Thunderbird will prompt to install its indexing system into Windows Vista and you can choose to see Thunderbird email and news messages in Windows search results.
For Mac users, Thunderbird 3 can import from Mail.app, read your OS X address book, and use Growl for new mail alerts.

I threw a frisbee thhat dropped onto the middle of the school pond.
Thus, i was expected to pick it up. There were no sticks around.
So, i walked slowly on the thin cement that seperated the diff types of plants.
I finally got the disk and threw it out of the pond.

Apple releases 3.1 iPhone & iPod touch firmware

Apple has announced the release of iPhone and iPod Touch firmware 3.1, available for download later today.

The free download, for both iPhone and iPod Touch 3.0 users, is said to improve battery life.

The 3.1 firmware will improve video editing on the iPhone 3GS, that won't overwrite the original clip when editing videos, preventing the loss of the original film.

The new developer API's allows third-party applications access to the videos and edit them, without having to use Apple's editing tools for the iPhone 3GS.

The update is said to increase the boot time of devices. The device will now vibrate when moving icons around to different locations.

Apple also included a "Fraud Protection" toggle switch for browsing, now available under the settings for Safari.

The firmware update allows Voice Control over Bluetooth now.

Users can also organize their icons through iTunes without having to move them around on their device.

AT&T users will get an update to profile 4.2, but many users will still need to wait till September 25 before using their MMS feature.

Apple also updated their modem firmware to 5.08.01. The update also has improvements to OpenGL and Quartz.

The 3.1 iPhone and iPod Touch firmware is available for download with iTunes 9.

Microsoft's Security Bulletin for September contains five critical bulletins for release on Tuesday to block Remote Code Execution vulnerabilities in Windows operating systems.

The five patches are scheduled for release on September 8, 2009.

All five bulletins have been rated as "Critical", Microsoft's highest rating for vulnerabilities.

These critical updates are to prevent exploitation of Windows operating system and prevent holes used by Internet worms to attack users without user interaction.

These updates only affect Microsoft Windows operating systems and not any other software.

The following Windows operating systems are affected:

Windows 2000 Service Pack 4
Windows XP Service Pack 2 & 3 *
Windows Vista Service Pack 1 & 2 *
Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 2 & Itanium-based Systems *
Windows Server 2008 Service Pack 2 & Itanium-based Systems *

* Both 32bit and 64bit architecture

No updates have yet been announced of Microsoft's new Windows 7 operating system, scheduled to release in retail stores on October 22, 2009.

Microsoft will also update the Microsoft Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool for September.

FIRST AND FOREMOST, HAPPY TEACHERS DAY TO ALL TEACHERS!

A new build of Office 2010 has surfaced around the web, identifying itself as "Microsoft Office 2010 Build 4417".

The build is not a huge difference but offers small improvements and more stability over the previously leaked Mondo builds which were plauged with problems.

The most notable new feature is that Back-Stage view has been altered and enhanced alot more and looks like it's almost finished.

There's a new upload center to store and share documents online - perhaps through live mesh - or it could be the Office Web Applications/Office Live Workspaces.

Other noticable addins are a new Activation system and updated icons for all applications

The version that's been leaked is the well known "Mondo" build, which is the equivalent of the "Ultimate" SKU of Office 2007, but also comes with Visio and other seperate products.

The last version of Mondo that was leaked caused widespread problems and was not able to be uninstalled from computers easily.

Microsoft has announced OneApp, a new software application that enables feature phones to access mobile apps like Facebook, Twitter, Windows Live Messenger, amongst other popular apps and games.

Feature phones are mobile phones that are capable of running some apps but that lack the capabilities of smartphones.

Old phones and phones found in emerging markets are deemed "feature phones".

According to Microsoft more than half of the people in the world own mobile phones but many struggle to access popular mobile applications.

"Microsoft OneApp will be able to help people do things they could not do before with their feature mobile phone -- anything from paying their bills to helping diagnose their health issues or just staying connected with friends and family," said Amit Mital, corporate VP at Microsoft.

Microsoft is partnering with Blue Label Telecoms of South Africa for the new technology.

Blue Label Telecom's "mibli" service in South Africa will be the first to offer users access to OneApp.

Mibli subscribers in South Africa will be able to use Facebook, Twitter, and Windows Live Messenger. In addition, developers can also create additional apps.

To keep the phone running quickly and efficiently, OneApp has a small footprint (150KB) and its apps are even smaller (about 30KB).

OneApp also includes a cloud service to deliver applications as they are needed.

This means users can store and access their apps without needing to store them on the phone.

OneApp runs on most feature phones that support Java. The following phones are currently supported:

Windows Live "Wave 3" gets an update, QFE patches released

With today's release of Windows Live Movie Maker 14, Microsoft has also released a Quick Fix Engineering (QFE) patch for all Windows Live applications.

At the time of writing, it is not known what is new or what has been fixed with this wave of QFE patches.

These patches apply to the Windows Live 2009 (Wave 3) applications.

Microsoft has yet to make the official announcement regarding this second wave of QFE patches, but as soon as we hear something we'll let you know what has been updated/fixed.

Solution to remove "Fotos 27/06" virus from hotmail

To remove the virus, please follow the procedures as shown below:

Don't further open any mails with Subject: fotos 27/06 or fotos 10/06, delete it immediately, change your email password.

1.Use Windows Explorer, check if you have a folder "WINNT_" in C: drive, delete the folder, if can't, restart PC & go safe mode, delete "WINNT_" folder.

2. Go to http://ccleaner.com to download CCleaner, install it & run the application, select 'Registry'
& click 'Scan for Issues', after the scanning, click 'Fix' to remove the registry of "WINNT_".

Okay, i surfed thru the forums in asiasoft and saw this thread. i think its kinda good for those who wana wash thier hp :)

1) What is hp washing?

This concept was first developed by Tiger from Maplegobal (Slaute all guys) and further tested out and improved by many guys including Tanyia from maplesea (bootes)(Sorry i can't named one by one there is too much of you guys down there) and me. Hp washing refers to adding it Ap into hp. And then buy ap reset from cash shop. -mp and add the ap into the stats which you want. For eg if you are warrior you will - mp and add it to str.

1.1) Who should do it?

The class that benefit most from hp washing is warrior. It is because warrior have the skill max hp increse. Therefore when an ap is added to hp, warrior gained the most. Other class may include archers and thief class. The gain is still ok. But an absolute no for mage to do hp washing

1.2) How much is the increase in Hp and the Mp lost?

Warriors +50~55Hp -4Mp
Thief +16~20 Hp -12Mp
Bowman +16~20 Hp -12Mp
Mage +10~20Hp - 90mp
Infighter +36-40 hp - 16mp
Gunslinger +16-20hp -16mp

1.3) Pros and Cons of hp washing
Pros
For warriors, Angeo has always been a no-no. It has always been a place for range attackers. Few can survived her slap at that time. After dying many times at her hands, i behind to search for the solution. And i stumble upon Tanyia's post. And finally my lvl 16x crusader was able to fight anego without instant kill from her slap. And after discovering that wearing int gear can have a much higher mp, which much lead to a higher hp, i started my 2nd character which how has reached the max hp 30k. Having a longer hp also help you to save more pot and more confidence in dealing with boss. For eg black crow deals 8k damage. For normal warriors, they are prone to die if the priest can't heal them in time. For me i always pot before the priest can heal me ( put your life in your hands is much safer than putting your life in other people's hands )

After hp washing, i can take black crow 3 hit before i die. Which means i got more chance than other people. If the priest don't heal by the third hit, i can jolly well pot myself. Having more hp for thief and bowman class also give them more advantage. Their hp is low and need more to survive a hit from monster.
As most of us will be using % pots like ramen. A ramen used is much more worthwhile than ever

Cons
First of all is $$$ issue. Each ap reset cost 6k a cash or 5 ap reset for 22500. For normal reseting, a lvl 15x can reset up up to 50-60 ap which is $250-$300.
For my improve version (wearing int before lvl up), At lvl 140, i have reseted 170+ points of ap. Which is equal to $800 sgd( and it is still running as i can still reset)
For normal resetting, your mp will be much lower as you are taking out mp for adding stats. For my improve version, the mp don't dipped as much.

1.4) Is there other ways to wash hp?
Yes. There are. i shall name 3 methods. But only method 1 is suitable for warrior. 2 and 3 is for other class

Mehod 1: For warriors and other class ( warrior pls stick to this method only )
i) Before you level,wear your int gear and level
ii) Add AP into HP
iii) Use AP reset, -MP + back stats

Method 2: For desperado that want to get HP asap (provided you got enough MP not for warrior )
i) Use AP reset - MP + HP ( if you do not have extra AP, you can use AP reset -AP + HP 1st )
ii) Repeat the -MP + HP process until you reach the limit. Use back the last point you can wash to add back to stats

Mehod3 : Double washing ( For desperado,rich and with int gear min 150 INT. Double wash = double $. estimate of 10k sgd to wash to 30k hp with hb for thief and bowman class not for warrior )
i) Before you level,wear your int gear and level
ii) Add AP into MP
iii) Use AP reset, -MP + HP
iv) Use AP reset - MP +Stats
The concept of double washing is to gain more MP so that you can wash more. We take for example a NL with min MP already.
If he using Method 1, He can only wash 1 time. End of story. +18HP , + 10MP
If he using Method 3, He can wash all 5 AP when he double wash. Lvl up add 22+ MP . Each AP added into MP gains around 20MP.
Therefore 20x5+22 = 122 MP. Double washing = 5x12MP +5x12MP= 120 MP. Each HP gains around 18HP.
So in total, you gain around 5x18= 90 HP and 2 extra MP. To wash 5 AP requires 10 AP reset = around $50 sgd

1.5) What is improve version? Int gear? How does it help?
Wearing int before you level up will increase the amount of mp you gained when you level out. The higher the int gear the more int added
Crusader 9~11mp all are base on 50 int
Knight 11~17mp
Dk 10~15mp

1.6) How much int you need to have the effect?
My current int gear adds 50 int. And i can see the effect. There are theories that having more int will increase. I guess that +40~50int can have the effect already. There are theories that having a higher int will gain more . It has been proven correct. More int does gained more mp. It is roughly about 10int gain 1 mp more. Thanks for suxfrano for pointing out

1.7) How much hp washing you can do?
It varies from job to job. But the minimum mp theory is the thing that controls it all. Under normal circumstances, a lvl 15x knight can reset only 50-60 ap. But if you used improve version of ap resetting, my lvl 14x crusader have resetted 170+ times. And according to my prediction, i can reset 90 times more. However if you use int gear, it depends on your int gear. The more godly the more mp you gain, thus being able to reset more.
There is a formula for DK and Hero
Formula for dk = 4 X lvl + 156 = min mp
Formula for Hero = 4 x lvl +56 = min mp
Formula for bow/xbow = level x 14 + 148
Formula for thieves = level x 14 + 134 (after 2nd job), level x 14 - 4 (before 2nd job)
Formula for pirate = 18x lvl +111

1.8) What is the maximum hp that one can have.
30k. My hp will pass 30k if i get hyperbody. But it only capped at 30k hp.

1.9) When i can do hp washing? Can i add ap into hp first, then months reset it out?
Anytime after you got improving max hp.
Yes you can. You can first add ap into hp first if you feel your hp is not enough. Then later reset it out. But pls be mindful of the min mp limit

Early morning, i woke up , happily prepared for the ZD later
I cooked instant noodles, ate it and quickly went off to take the bus.
As the venue was changed , the travelling time would be longer, so i rushed to the bus stop

When i was climbing up the stairs of the overhead bridge, which i had to do everyday,
to go to school.
I really duno what happened, my foot kick against the f'cking stairs and my toe cracked and HELL lot of blood. If you people think " aiya, crack and bleed only mah, whats the big deal?" then go try it urself, bang or wadever ur toe/foot againts a sharp edge, and see what happens

Today went for ZD training in the morning.

However , Training was rather ok today.

Yeap. i went to sim lim square today wif my family but firstm we went to the guanyin temple to pray and had our lunch. My brother and i then rocketed to the fifth floor of simlim square to get our razer lycosa mirror and we managed to slash the price from $129 to $115 =D

hii guys was quite busy with homework these few days and hadnt had any time to update ... i will start from yesterday night. I rushed back home at around 4+ after cca and rushed back to school which was about 6 le . then i saw melvin n alvin and we went to the mama shop to buy some snacks then went back to school for the chemistry make up lesson. we watied for a while for mr tan to come then mr tan treated us pizza =D then we went home while i was walkin to the bus stop, mr tan horned me and gave me and melvin a lift home =D haha thx lots mr tan!

for today , school was bored as usual but cca was fun , there was this new it guy to replace mr ng but he looks and act wierd o.o then mr jun came when i dreew my teostra halfway then mr jimmy tan and mr karthi can in and went off. after cca , talked to mr jun for awhile played frisbee with chong weng by the bus stop and took a bus home with andrew,anthea and jia wei.THEN, after i reached home , melvin called me and we talked about we melvin did for the ncc outing today and he said that he wanted to take the marine course as he loves it and during ns , he could serve in the navy and the navy is better than the army in terms of training and food and you can learn navigation , engines and all the cool stuff .

Althoght that we won the the frisbee champions for today's sports fest and even cohort champion, i only get to play in the frisbee competition for 30 seconds and got a medal but that is not what i am angry of ... i am angry of is that badminton medals i and melvin participated and put our names in the form to participate like other players but the malays didnt and they played and got the medal but i dun blame them they won but , they gave KENT the medal which he did not play and kent said that his name was on the list but mine and melvin's were also up there y we didnt get instead kent get it? ITS LIKE WTF MAN!!! but nvm since its already a fact i will let it go

Sportsfest - Badminton

wow... badminton today for sportsfest , lots of ppl came to play for our class... yokelin, azhar,qudus ,syawal, melvin , kent , ameera , amalina and me . I only play one game of doulbles with melvin againts 4e4 - chester n faiz and lost T.T coz i and melvin bumped into each other several times but thanks to the doubles later- qudus and azhar that won the finals doubles and yokelin and qudus that won the mixed doubles but gd job man syawal. but kent was dissapointed coz he didnt get to play anything at all ... but there were so many of us ... if friday they were gona giv out the medals , how? o.O but we hope that we can also in the other various sports especially frisbee coz we trained really hard for it ... thats all for now !
